Increasing Student Achievement. The core responsibility of our schools is to ensure ALL students in our community are provided opportunities for success. Chris pledges to work tirelessly to ensure our schools, teachers and parents have the resources necessary to support and propel progress for ALL students.

Fiscal Stewardship. Public education is funded by hard-earned taxpayer dollars. Using both his business experience and knowledge gained through serving on recent RISD committees, Chris will apply a critical voice to the highly expected stewardship of taxpayer resources. Chris will strive to focus resources on proven initiatives that have a direct impact on ALL student outcomes.

Closing the Achievement Gap. ALL students in our district deserve the best education we can possibly give to them. While Richardson ISD has made great strides in acknowledging inequities and improving outcomes throughout diverse communities, we still have much to do. Chris will be an active advocate for ALL students to ensure our district is making progress towards closing gaps between ALL student populations.

Supporting Schools. As a member of the 2021 Richardson ISD Bond Committee, Chris has an in-depth understanding of the individual needs of campuses throughout RISD. With a history of advocating for critical needs for our schools, Chris will continue to ensure that ALL students and teachers have safe buildings with the maintenance and improvements necessary to enhance their learning environments.
